Customer Profile: A large manufacturer of Heavy Process Equipment


Problem: The Company had rapidly grown over the last 4 years and had successfully executed a large number of projects without expanding the organizations capability. This had sapped up all the energy and there was a situation where execution of new business was getting impacted. There was a need to break out of the situation by implementing processes that were more growth oriented.


Solution: We got involved with this company in a 360° turnaround transformation consulting engagement, where we evaluated the project management and execution processes and the manufacturing systems. We executed initiatives to implement changes by bringing in professional management who were proficient in using project management tools and had experience with project execution. We initiated practices of collaborative working where progress was visible to all organizational contributors. Production management practices were changed and we ensured in proper allocation and management of resources in line with the order execution priorities. We also initiated the process of formalizing the stores and material management leading into creation of the basis for implementing an ERP for the organization.


Benefit: The organization has already started to see a turnaround and is well on its way to the growth that is planned.
