Company Profile: A leading manufacturer of packaged food products


Problem: The organization had grown and the data about the organizations performance and the integration of workflows across the organization was heavily dependent on people calling each other or sending WhatsApp messages to each other to be able to progress work on day to day basis.


Solution: At the first stage we implemented process discipline using spreadsheets and online sheets. This process discipline once implemented was incorporated into an ERP. We helped the client evaluate multiple ERP vendors, helped the client finalize the most suitable ERP vendor, and once the solution was finalized we worked closely with the vendor as well as the business to develop the solution. We tested the solution across order management, production, inventory management, and finance. And based on the user acceptance, the system was taken into live use by which all the manual processes were converted into an automated ERP driven workflow.


Benefits: The organization now has complete clarity about the workflow, the production department has clarity on demand, the sales department has a single tool through which they can enter all their requirements. Finance department is integrated with purchase, so the flow of purchases to finance departments for making payments as well as communication of balances and status of payments to vendors is automatically managed reducing the no. of phone calls that need to be made. This system has also led the basis for future growth of the organization by integrating the same system with upstream and downstream stakeholders, distributors, and vendors.
