Customer Profile: A manufacturing organization making heavy engineering products
Problem: The company was working extensively through shared excel sheets and shared documents over a server with the result that when the employees were travelling or when they were not physically able to connect to their systems work was getting held up. Further there were limitations of how much an excel sheet could do. As the operations became more and more complex it was necessary to have standardized work flows and it was necessary to ensure that best practices were getting followed in execution of all projects.
Solution: We evaluated the work flow and firstly standardized processes were implemented without automation. And once the process implementation was complete, we assisted the client to evaluate multiple IT System vendors and selected the best vendor fitting the requirements of the organization as well as their budget.
Benefit: The organization now has moved its sales processes completely on to an automated platform and the rest of the organization is scheduled to follow. They are very happy that they are able to retrieve data from any historic project for ready reference and very steadily they have moved from an in-house architecture to a cloud based architecture.
